At Casa Palapa we have created for our guests a Vallarta experience as different from the usual as our villa is from the traditional Mexican town below. We immerse our guests in a contemporary architectural masterpiece surrounded by beauty, serenity and expansiveness. Our guests can enjoy our Grand Palapa living room and look across our secluded infinity pool to the architecture on the hills below, architecture that is influenced by the Moors, the Spaniards and adapted by the Mexicans. This provides an exciting foreground that disappears into Banderas Bay with sunsets 365 days each year. Then enjoy the incredible roof top terrace, wet bar, palapa shade and lounging area overlooking the Bay and coast line of Puerto Vallarta. You can also exercise in the air conditioned professionally equipped exercise room. At any time you can retreat to the +/-1000 square foot guest suites, each with TV/DVD, grand bathrooms and walk in security closets as well as private seating areas. Our large suites have expansive folding glass walls that open to breathtaking views of the ocean, mountains, tropical forest and once a day the setting sun. After an evening of dining and dancing in Old Vallarta, our guests can relax on the roof top or lounge in the grand living room, have a swim in the infinity pool under a moonlit sky or if you are lucky enough to enjoy one of our incredible lightning storms. Alternatively, you can light some candles in your guest suite and cuddle into a king size canopy bed all with its breathtaking views. For those who prefer to sleep in a more natural setting, the window walls can be left open to enjoy the soft sea breeze that flows through the room. Casa Palapa is located just minutes from the highlights of Old Town / Southside. Its tranquil seclusion provides a wonderful balance to the noise and activities of the town. Taxis are plentiful in the area and usually take less than 5 minutes to arrive at the villa - cost is about $5 USD to get anywhere in old town.

Additional InformationPuerto Vallarta Puerto Vallarta lies along Banderas Bay, the second largest bay in the Western Hemisphere. It is located 352 kilometers (219 miles) from Guadalajara, the state capital of Jalisco, and it is nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Madre mountain range. The region has many forests, rivers and waterfalls, with an average temperature of 27°C (80°F). Of its many attractions Playa Mismaloya, which gained fame from the film "The Night of the Iguana", is a popular celebrity hangout.
